One of the reasons that the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) were able to gain their independence from Russia was because of the support of the Royal Navy. Historigraph recounts one of the key events in this struggle, when the Royal Navy sent six small torpedo boats into the heavily defended Soviet naval base of Kronstadt and caused chaos.
